I haven't felt chemistry like this in ten years; an instant attraction. But yet again geography gets in the way. To say it in a letter:
Hey you, For starters I never have just gone after someone like that before. There is just something about you that I am very drawn to. After some thought I've come to the conclusion that while I am crushing on you pretty good it is silly to think about this as more than a passing fancy given the current geography. I think the chemistry was felt both ways. Hopefully I am right. However, you just got home and to your new lease on life. And I shouldn't probably harbor feelings stateside if I am on my way out of here. I don't want to be any reason someone puts their life on hold. If we ever find ourselves in the same place... If you do make it to the Islands to give this a go... I'll be thrilled, but you clearly have other opportunities in MI and I can't feel like I am waiting on the periphery even if it on the magic that is D.R. :)
So here is to a friendship with hope of more- but an acknowledgement that it is just an online fantasy atm.
I had to put this down in writing mostly for me to recognize for myself that my want of you is and can only be that if and until we have a better shot...
